MCCHOF

mcc11.jpgIn 2002 I was inducted into the Montgomery County Coaches Hall of Fame.  It was a true honor because Norristown, my home town, is in Montgomery County so to go back home to be honored felt good.

Tomorrow night I will be honored by the Montgomery County Coaches Hall of Fame by receiving their Lifetime Achievement Award.

I would like to thank the Board of Directors for thinking of me, and Sherriff John Durante and his staff for taking such good care of me during my stay in Norristown.

Congratulations Mr. Lasorda! (Sure your Dodgers swept my Cubs out of the postseason this year, but hey, no hard feelings.) : ) Even without knowing anything about Montgomery County’s baseball history (or of any of it’s history for that matter) this seems like a no-brainer to me! Enjoy the evening and have a happy Thanksgiving come Thursday!

Hey Tommy,
I hope you and Vin don’t have to go out and bye a bigger trophy case.

Tommy,
Who do you think should go to the Hall of Fame? I’m pretty sure it will be Henderson and Rice, but I want to know who you think deserves it.
