Round 2

36750.jpgI have been traveling the world for the 2009 World Baseball Classic.  We are really putting on the miles, as I just got back from San Juan.

I would like to congratulate the United States, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Cuba for advancing.

With eight teams left to play, we’ll see who wants to win the ’09 Classic the most.

Now the real work begins…

The battle is bieng played on our turf……….The U.S.A. wants to win Tommy, and we expect them to get it done!!!!
GO U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s sure great to have so many counties represented by baseball, Tommy.
I’d like to see each team play it’s home games in their own country.
Maybe someday we will have another version of a World Series.

I watched USA vs PR on Saturday night and it looks like you better give Team USA a little pep talk as Puerto Rico creamed them with the mercy ruling, as you must very well know.
Another thing, I hope they’ve been giving Broxton enough work, we wouldn’t want him to get rusty.

Congrats to Team USA on it’s win over the Netherlands and it was great to see our boy Broxton in there at the end.

Congrats to all the teams that made it thus far especially the USA!

It was Broxton himself in that top of the 9th against Puerto Rico, a little shaky, which wasn’t unusual. It looked like his typical outing, but he held the damage to the very minimum.
Good enough to get the win as my daughter’s favorite Wright ended it with that bloopping single to right.
